In the old rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne, how do Sydney brothels stand up against the southern city?
Sydney is slightly more famous for it’s night life, escorts, strip bars and adult entertainment, thanks to King’s Cross. St Kilda and King street are a completely different ballgame.
Sydney has it’s inner west parlours, escorts for women, and of course their world famous gay scene, and the massive Oxford st night clubs, and Mardi Gras party.
Brothels in sydney such as The Golden Apple, Tiffany’s, Stiletto and Kelly’s Asian Flowers make more some interesting competition.
The city has even been named “the brothel capital of the South Pacific” by well known media news outlets.
We did also read one account about Zanadu – Sydney’s biggest illegal brothel. The website appears to be taken down, so perhaps the council shut down the premises, after operating for some 18 years.
City council members were fully aware of the adult night spot, but were refusing to take any action this whole time. Perhaps because they were getting a lot of action there themselves, dirty politicians.
I wonder if it finally got shut down? Who out there knows, please fill us in with the details.
